Yobe State Steering Committee On Reformation of Tsangaya Education Visits Sheik Sherrif Ibrahim Saleh, Seeks For Scholarly Advice.
The committee was inaugurated by Secretary to the state government, Alh. Baba Malum Wali on 29th June, 2020 to harness all available measures to reform tsangaya education, as Gov. Mai Mala Buni administration stands not to ban the system or deport non indigene Almajiris to their states of origin.
The chairman of the committee, who is the also the Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss led his members to the residence of Sheik Sherrif Ibrahim Saleh In Abuja today toward seeking for scholarly advice.
Sheik Sherrif Ibrahim Saleh applauded Governor Mai Mala Buni for his concern to better Tsangaya education in the state. He therefore, assured maximum support to the Reformation process.
Other members of the committee include Ustaz Babagana Mallam Kyari , Adviser Religious Matters, Prof.Musa Alabe, Chairman SUBEB, Mal. Muhammad Baba Goni Gujba
Malam ABBA Lawan, Mallam Yahuza Hamza Geidam, among others.
